The Incan influence can be observed in Peru  today. Their traditions, diet, clothing all consist of some Inca aspects.

Many of the things that Inca's built are still being used:
- The Panamerican Highway, which connects South America, north and south, is built on the road system that the Incas created (The Inca Trail) which connected the entire empire. Many of these roads were so well designed that all the Peruvian government had to do in many cases, is expand some parts and pave them.

- Many people still use the farming platforms created by the Incas to take advantage of the steep sides of the mountains.

Even though the Tahuantinsuyo (Incan Empire) doesn't exist anymore, its people are still alive and keeping their culture in Peru.

The impact of the Inca Empire on modern society is definitely large in a way that they have influenced millions of people across the globe. In today’s popular culture, both the historical Machu Picchu site and the Inca Empire can be seen specifically in adventure movies where the protagonist is in search of a Peruvian artefacts hidden somewhere on the site ruins. This is one example of Inca Empire’s social impact.
